Total Solar Eclipse to Cross Canada in 2024

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will occur, partially visible across Canada. The eclipse will begin at approximately 2:14 pm local time in Saint-Lambert, Quebec, and will cross Mexico, the United States, and Canada.Path of the Eclipse
The path of the eclipse will pass through the following regions of Canada: * Quebec * Ontario * New Brunswick * Nova Scotia The eclipse will be visible for approximately two minutes and 30 seconds from Longueuil, Quebec, and will be the longest total solar eclipse visible in Canada since 1979.Residents and visitors to the affected regions are encouraged to take the necessary precautions to safely view the eclipse, including wearing special eclipse glasses.
